    A splicing variant was found by sequence analysis of two Ryr3 cDNA frgaments differing by a 341 bp insertion. Comparison of cDNA and genomic sequences were made and it was revealed that the regional genomic DNA fragment contains three exons and two introns. One of the introns represents a 341 bp fragment having sequence identical to that of the predicted splicing region on mouse Chromosome 2.
