Notes
  • Experiment
Authors examined the inactivation of Cdkn2a and Cdkn2b in mouse lung tumor cell lines and 99 lung adenocarcinomas from C3AF1 and AC3F1 mouse hybrids. Twelve of the 18 cell lines and 6 of 99 adenocarcinomas examined showed inactivation by homozygous deletion of the genes. Authors note that in no cell line or tumor was a deletion found to individually affect either Cdkna or Cdknb. This data indicates that Cdkna and Cdknb are closely linked on mouse Chromosome 4.
