Notes
  • Reference
Authors use H105e3 and P1A for locus symbols Nsdhl and Zfp185 respectively.
  • Experiment
Mouse genes Bpa (bare patches) and Str (striated) produce clinical features similar to those induced by human genes CDPX2 and Ip2, respectively. In an attempt to isolate genes in the conserved region of mouse Chromosome X, partial physical maps were generated using selected YAC, P1, and cosmid clones. An overlapping 600kb interval between DXHXS1104 and DXHXS52 was proposed to contain the Bpa/Str regions. Str was roughly localized between markers DXHXS1104 and F8a. The Bpa region was estimated to be between ~110kb 3' of DXHXS1104 and DXHXS52. The reported order of other loci in the region was: DXHXS1104 - DXBay18 - Zfp185 - Zfp275 - Nsdhl - Xlr3 - F8a - Zfp92 - Bgn.
