GeneAlleleAssay TypeDescription
D10Mit115 PCR amplified length variant
Atcay Atcayji-hes visible phenotype
D10Mit42 PCR amplified length variant
D10Mit10 reported elsewhere
Notes
  • Reference
Heterozygotes for hesitant (C3H-hes/+) and jittery (JIGR/Dn- ji +/+ gr) were mated with each other. Of 32 offspring, 12 clearly had the hesitant phenotype. This result established non-complementation of the two mutations. Cross mapping data which indicated co-localization of hes and ji on mouse Chromosome 10 established that hesitant and jittery are caused by mutant alleles of the same gene.
  • Experiment
Data for the D10Mit10 marker is not shown, the distance between jihes, D10Mit42 and D10Mit10 is reported to be 12.5 +/- 6.6 cM.Offspring types indicate alleles inherited from F1 parent.
