  The Jackson Laboratory BSS [(C57BL/6JEi x SPRET/Ei)F1 x SPRET/Ei] backcross panel was used to finely map the location of Npas2 on mouse Chromosome 1. Npas2 was found to be closely linked to two markers, D1Bir8 and D1Hun31 - one recombination occuring between Npas2 and each marker.
