• Experiment
  Direct sequencing of a genomic cosmid clone (Pau) was used to physically map Gba, Mtx, D3Nds20, Thbs3, Muc1 and D3A1 to mouse Chromosome 3. Gba, Thbs3 and Muc1 are all transcribed in the same direction, while Mtx and D3A1 were shown to be transcribed in the opposite orientation. Muc1 was mapped 3kb distal to Thbs3. Gba and Thbs3 are separated by at least 6kb of intergenic DNA. In addition D3Nds20 was mapped 3.5kb proximal to Thbs1, Mtx was mapped 1200bp proximal to Thbs3, and D3A1 was mapped 800bp distal to Muc1.
