  • Experiment
    Authors used direct sequencing of lambda phage clones, which encompass a 94kb region immediately distal to XIST, to identify a novel gene, Tsx lying 40kb distal to Xist on mouse Chromosome X. Further analysis showed that Tsk is transcribed in the opposite direction to that of Xist.
