  150 progeny derived from wild type X/O females mated to Ta/Y males were used to show that DXMit25 segregated with perfect concordance with Ta on the mouse X Chromosome. Importantly, in the X/O, Ta/Y mating system the polymorphism in DXmit25 can be used to mark the chromosome that carries the Ta allele.
