Notes
  • Experiment
LOH (loss of heterozygosity) in hepatic adenomas obtained from C57BL/6N x C3H/HeN mice indicated that the mouse homologue, Tsp8, of the human 7q31 locus ST7-LSB was conserved in mouse. Microsatellite markers polymorphic between mouse strains C57BL/6N andC3H/HeN were informative to show that a region of 0.2 cM in band A2 of mouse Chromosome 6 between markers D6Mit50 and D6Mit179 exhibited the most frequent LOH. Significantly, from a total of 112 tumors, 90.7% showed an LOH at the D6Mit50 marker and 89.5% showed an LOH at the D6Mit179 marker.
