    Somatic cell hybrid line HOVSM1-18 was constructed using hamster with mouse cells. The only mouse chromosme present in HOVSM1-18 is the mouse X Chromosome. Southern blotting of SstI digests of hybrid HOVSm1-18 DNA indicated the presence of a 10kb fragment representing mouse locus DXYRp2.
