    Linkage analysis was performed on 64 BXD RI strains (n = 528) to identify QTL associated with adrenal width in males.

    QTL Mawdq1 maps to 119 - 120 Mb on Chromosome 10 with a peak LOD score of 3.757 in linkage with male adrenal width. DBA/2J alleles increase adrenal width at the Mawdq1 locus.

    Suggestive QTL for male adrenal width were mapped to chromosome 13.
