    Potential candidated gene mapping near the Lmr23 QTL which mapped with D16Mit73 at 6.8 cM on Chromosome 16 of CcS11/Dem in this map study are:
    Two clusters of genes that affect B-cell development:
    Igl-C5, Igll1, Vpreb1, Vpreb2, Iglc1, Iglc3, Iglv1, Iglv2, and Igll1 mapping between 9.8 and 13.0 cM. [Table 9.]

    A possibly related QTL controlling other infections and co-localizing with the Lmr23 QTL is Dice1, determination of interleukin 4 commitment 1 at 8.0 cM. [Table 10.]
