  QTL for factors influencing sperm movement was discovered in CBA/Kw X KE (CBXE) and KE X CBA/Kw EXCB) RI mice. There were 11 RI lines tested. Average path velocity (VAP), MGI symbol Spmo1, mapped with D7Mit309 with a LRS of 10.9, with 63% of the trait variance accounted for within this region. Beat Cross frequency (BCF) ), MGI symbol Spmo2, mapped with D7Mit267 with a LRS of 16.9, with 79% of the trait variance accounted for within this region. And linearity(LIN) as calculated as a ratio of VSL straight line to VCL curvilinear velocities, MGI symbol Spmo3, mapped to with D14Mit234 with a LRS of 10.6 with 62% of the trait variance accounted for within this region.
