  Authors report that DXYMov15 showed 10-20% recombination with sex in male meiosis, whereas Sts showed ~50% recombination. Since the mouse sex-determination region is on the short arm of the Y Chromosome and the PAR is at the end of the long arm. The authors report that these genetic data place Sts telomeric to DXYMov15.
