Homozygous knockout increases the severity of cardiac pressure overload phenotypes (cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis, decreased ventricular muscle contractility). Conditional homozygous KO in intestinal epithelial cells does not affect susceptibility to dextran sodium sulfate (DSS)-induced colitis.
