Most homozygous null mice develop hydrocephalus associated with progressive ventricular dilation, a large domed cranium, thin cerebral cortices, callosal agenesis, aberrant proliferation and polyposis of ependymal cells, intracerebral bleeding, ataxia, dehydration and death at 1-2 months of age.
