Chlorpromazine impairs performance of mice pre-trained in active avoidance tasks. Two loci control difference in impairment of BALB/cBy and C57BL/By strains. BALB/cBy carries an allele for high chlorpromazine effect and C57BL/6By an allele for low effect.
