Candidate genes for diabesity QTLs Dbsty4 (49.6 cM) and Bwtq6 (41.2 cM) are D15Wsu75e (46.7 cM), Gpt1 (40.3 cM), Tef (46.7 cM), and H1f0 (46.75 cM). Tef and H1f0both show differential expression between restricted and unrestricted diets on the A/A background. D15Wsu75e shows differential expression between A/a and A/A animals on both the restricted and unrestricted diets.
