Mutant mice exhibit hindlimb weakness, keeping their hindquarters low during locomotion. They also exhibit movement-associated body tremors. When lifted by their tails, they keep their hind legs close to their bodies. They have a brisk hind limb withdrawal (flexor) reflex.
