Mutation details: The human open reading frame with nucleotide substitutions that result in the amino acid substitution of alanine for serine at position 133 was inserted into a vector containing the promoter and untranslated exons 1 through 3 of the murine promoter followed by an SV40 polyadenylation sequence. Transgene promoter drives expression in cardiac myocytes. Three founder lines were established (lines 1, 2, and 3) with between 15 and 50 cpoies of the transgene, respectively.
