• Mutation details: The transgene consists of a Pcp2 promoter, the full-length mutant human Sca7 gene carrying a 90 glutamine repeat expansion, and an SV40 intron and polyadenylation sequence. Pcp2 promoter sequences target transgene expression to Purkinje cells. Transgene expression was observed in Purkinje cells by immunofluorescence. (J:65411)
