The human cDNA is followed by the mouse H2-Aa 3' noncoding sequence. Mice bearing this transgene in combination with Tg(H2-Ab1-HLA-DPB1)1Lone express a human HLA-DPalpha103/DPbeta401 complex that is specifically recognized by the anti-HLA-DP monoclonal antibody B72.
