Mutation details: This transgene consists of the platelet-derived growth factor beta promoter, the human APP signal sequence, the amyloid beta containing carboxy-terminal 99 amino acids of APP with the Indiana V717F mutation and the SV40 polyadenylation sequence. The Kozak sequence (GACC) was introduced in front of the ATG codon of the signal sequence to increase translation efficiency. 16 Founder lines were established. This is the highest expressing line.
