description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Humanized sequence, Inserted expressed sequence, Modified isoform(s), Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Col1a1-FGF2*,-Sapphire)203Mmh expresses 1 gene

Mutation detailsA transgene was designed to contain the human high-molecular weight exported 24-, 23-, and 22-kDa isoforms of FGF2, an internal ribosome entry site (IRES), a blue shifted variant of GFP known as Sapphire under the control of a 3.6 kb fragment of the Col1a1 5 regulatory region (Col3.6). The construct also harbors a neomycin selection cassette. Two lines, 203 and 204 were generated. Line 203 is entered as the representative line. (J:159949)
