This locus modifies sensitivity of the titration curve when B-tropic RadLV leukemia virus is propagated in non-permissive Fv1 embryo cells. The dominant allele determines 1-hit kinetics and high sensitivity in C57BL/Ka; the recessive, 2-hit kinetics and low sensitivity in BALB/c and NIH Swiss.
