Table pub.mgd.mld_contig Defines CONTIG Experiment for MIT Physical Mapping data. Each Contig has a name and an indication (minLink) of the minimum number of common hits required to assemble YACs into the Contig. For the MIT data, the value in this field is either 1 or 2. Each Contig is labelled with the minimum and maximum cM position of markers within the Contig. When printing the Contigs for a chromosome, the Contigs should be ordered by the mincm field. The Contig tables are loaded via a load script and there is no Editorial Interface for modifying this data. See MLD_ContigProbe, MLD_Hit, PRB_Probe.
